Remote start (Starter Out/Input)

Remote start (Starter Out/Input)
Hi, I have a question regarding a viper 5704 remote start install. What does it mean by starter side and key side with the Violet and Green wires from the viper system? I'm assuming that after cutting the green wire, the Green wire from the viper should go to the connector that connects to the ignition and the Violet wire should go to the cut green wire that runs to the harness (rest of car) .
But in the Viper 5900 install video by Motorz (youtube), they wired the Violet wire (+starter output; starter side) to the cut green wire of the connector, and the Green wire (+ starter input ; key side) to the cut green wire that runs to the rest of the car (opposite) It doesn't make sense. Which is the right connection?
Also, do both door trigger inputs used? The H2/6 Green Door Trigger Input (-) and the H2/12 Violet (+) Door Trigger Input? I have both wired:
H2/6 to the dome light (light Grn/ yel) in Grey 26 Plug @ SJB
H2/12 to Light Grn/ BLK at Black 26 Plug @ SJB.
Door triggers are not working to trigger alarm.

For the starter wires. You cut the car starter wire in half. Then connect the viper wire to either the starter key side or the starter side depending on which wire is which.
Only use one door trigger. Either the positive or negative depending on what the 12volt.com wire diagram tells you.
not working because you have both connected and may have blown a fuse. Get it professionally installed if you don't know what you are doing. You can blow your SJB and it's expensive to replace.

here you go. Make sure you have the correct wire, sometimes there are two of the same color wire in the sjb. Test with a multimeter before you start connecting wires.

Okay, I got the all the alarm connections working properly (door triggers, hood/ trunk pin, shock sensor, trunk release, and door locks). Now I'm on the remote starter, have everything wired on the ignition properly, and have programmed the Xpresskit PKFM bypass module. When I try to remote start, I am getting 7 flashes remote start error. I have not programmed my tach learn. I need two more wires, the tachometer input and brake Shutdown wire. The brake wire is a lt. Green wire @ SJB grey 36 pin plug, but is it the 36 pin plug on the front of the SJB or the back? Both are Grey 36 pin plugs. And before I connect the tach, I'm planning on using the negative uncommon non-red wire on injector For piston #8, however I am not getting an AC 1-6V on my multimeter nor does it fluctuate with throttle response. Do these S197 mustangs only have a tach signal on The coils? Which piston coil did you wire your tach input to?
