Default DS and suspension compatible with a coyote swap?

Im starting to think my long term plan for my car might be a coyote swap and I kinda want to continue upgrading with that in mind.
That brings me to the following two questions:
Are the drive shafts the same length or would upgrading now require a new one later too?
Will any weight differences require different springs?

Both of those are mods I am considering but will hold off on until I make a decision as to the coyote swap. Im at 85k miles right now and my engine still runs great but if I ever find a well priced 5.0 or something happens to my 4.6 I may try the swap.

the weight difference between a fully dressed 4.6 and 5.0 actually isnt that much, so springs shouldnt be needed.

not sure on the DS needed, im sure someone will chime in. usually it depends on transmission more than the engine i think

I think our definition of well priced differs a little bit.

TBH, for a forged block, and all the other included upgrades/parts, 8.3k is a deal when you can then re-sell your stock stuff.

also FREE WATCH WITH PURCHASE BRO...............

still gotta get the PCM and harness though, another 1.4k

I would hold off on the driveshaft, its possible they are the same length but who knows since they are completely different transmissions between the MT82/Tr3650 as well at the autos.

Suspension is the same. (depending on whether or not you use the EPAS or hydraulic power steering, there is a k-member difference)

I considered a 5.0 swap at one time but then I discovered you would need an engine control pack which is about another $1500 and switching to a return type fuel system. Too much trouble, IMO. I'd rather just get a Brenspeed B326.
