Must be a newer ecu thing then, cause my fox does it. But its a 91 with very basic ecu programming. I havent tried it with my sixxer or GT, mostly cause I actually take care of those beyond just the minimum maintainence.

I have yet to see afterfire from a Mustang...
My Subaru WRX did it all the time. But, it had no cats, fully built/tuned, and ran rich on the A/F ratio.

All kidding aside, even if he doesn't know what he's talking about everyone can appreciate a good explosion. Get rid of your cats, and install a WOT box if you have a stick. Otherwise, spend thousands on raw horsepower and get there the man way. It's definitely possible.

Yeah it is possible with something like a WOT box or 2 step that kills spark while dumping fuel, probably have a better chance without cats too.
