Default High pitched electronic beeping

I keep hearing a high pitched electronic beep in my 2014 GT. It's not the radio because if it's beeping, it will still beep when I turn the radio off. It goes away after awhile. The car has 16,500 on the OD and this just started in the last month or so. I just can't figure out where it's coming from. No idiot lights, no warnings and otherwise, the car has been perfect. It's high-end with Navigation, Juke Box, TrackPac, Brembos, etc.

Hello jhawkr,

You should bring your vehicle in to your dealer for diagnosis and let me get this escalated to the customer service manager for your area. Please PM me with your VIN, dealer, mileage, full name, and best daytime number.

It is under warranty so I would bring it in and have the dealer take a look. Once they figure it out, let us know what the outcome is.

It's not the reverse beep. It's very high pitched. Almost imperceptible. It doesn't do it all the time. It seems to only happen after a cold start for awhile and it's erratic. It's definitely not mechanical or vacuum leak or anything like that. I have 6 years Ford Platinum Warranty left so I'm not terribly concerned at this point. I'd hate to give up my car for 2-3 days and get it back with a "We were unable to duplicate".

I understand, jhawkr. I still recommend you get it checked now, this way if there’s anything wrong it does not damage anything else. Also, be sure to PM me with the info requested so I can escalate it.

I think I figured it out. Pretty sure it's the HVAC fan motor. Pitch will vary with speed of fan. I'll just let it go until it gets too annoying or my next service, whichever is 1st. It will no doubt get worse! I've never heard a fan problem with that high a pitch before!

Ok, I understand, jhawkr. I'm here if you need me.
