Default new tires

2012 gt with headers and stage 3 roush supercharger,manual shift.235x50x18 tires on 8 inch rims. what type of tire will fit on my rims without changing the overall dia. if i go with 9 inch x18 on back then what are my options

255/45-18 will work on either of those widths but will be much better off on the 9". 255/45's are actually about 0.2" shorter than your 235/50's, but I seriously doubt that anybody ever notices that small of a change. Tires wear about three times that much from new to discard.

275/40-18 would work on the 9" wide wheels if you can live with tires that are about 0.4" shorter than the 255/45's.
