Default Just an Idea... (SC from Oz)

I'm wondering; if I had an Australian FPV (Ford Performance Vehicles) BOSS 335 supercharger shipped over and installed on my Coyote, would a competent shop be able to dyno-tune it? The supercharger is made for the Australian Ford Falcon FPV that runs a Coyote V8. Would it be as simple as install and tune?

The impeller screw spins backwards down under, just like how toilets spin in reverse. So probably not. Haha.....

One question: Why? Why go through all that effort and expense when plenty of superchargers are available here already.

That's a good question, and I've thought on it. I really don't know if I'm going to be "allowed" to swing a supercharger by the wife; we've got some home improvement stuff in the works. But if I can talk her into it, with the Australian dollar as weak as it is to the American dollar, there could be a decent savings if the shipping can be kept under control. Another positive would be running a "factory" Coyote supercharger.

The main draw for me is probably the worst reason; I'd be the only guy at the car show with an Australian FPV Falcon GT-P supercharger under the hood. People would be scratching their heads at the 335kW badging on it.
(450 hp to the rear wheels!)

As somebody who lives in Hawaii and gets no free shipping, I can say the shipping charges will not be cheap. I would be really concerned about damages too. My roush box was quite beat up when it arrived on Maui. I was like oh sh#t, but fortunately it was only outside damage.
