Default Tail Light Tint

Hey Guys

Has anyone tinted only the 2 reverse lights on the 2010+ tail lights? I am unure if it is illegal in all states but I seen a picture someone had done this on a white/black stang. It would seem to look unique on a pw or black model. I wanted to see what you guys think of this mod.

I wouldn't do it. Waste of time for that little of an area in my opinion.

I did the entire light including the reverse lights. I think it looks much better than the "toothie" look of the white reverse lights. I didn't tint them too dark - you can still see some red in them.

Thanks guys. I hope this helps you decide what to do.

It was my first time tinting lights so I didn't have a clue what I was doing. It's not a professional job by any means. It took a good amount of hand polishing to get the clear coat somewhat glossy. I did this last summer and it's still holding up well. To be safe I didn't tint the third brake light, but in reality my lights are still very visible, even during the day.
