Wheel Ideas for Race Red 11 GT
Good Morning Gents,
I have a Race Red 2011 GT. Looking for a 18-20" wheel set (staggered) to put on. I'm not quite into the black wheels on a red car so I was hoping to see if anyone else had some pics or ideas. My budget will be around $1800 for wheels AND tires. I would love to have the Vossen CV2 or CV3's but they seem to be too much after everything is said and done. I imagine 245's up front and 275/285/295 on the rears.
I'm not looking to lower it as the mean streets of Santa Barbara already seem to stab the bottom of my stock ride, but might just have to so it looks right.
The AMR Charcoal Wheels look good on darker cars, but have yet to see them on a bright red one, not sure it's going to match the darker lower trim of the car.
I dislike the GT500/Gt4 wheels and still up in the air about putting Saleen and Bullitt wheels on
Any ideas?

The AMR charcoal rims look awesome on a race red mustang. I run them as my race wheels. I run 18x9 on all four corners for easy rotation. I'm almost tempted to buy another set so I can put some cheap rubber on and drive them all the time instead of just at races.

I don't know any specific brands or models, but as far as colors go, the charcoal looks sick. What I thought would look cool is if you got rims (or painted) with a thin strip of red trim along the outside. I doubt you would paint rims that nice, but if you find some that you love that don't have the trim, I'm just throwing out an idea. I love accenting pieces in cars with color!
