i would have never paid 6500!!! u should see the one i got for 2300!!!! check my profile there are a couple of pic there. the car when i bought it had the original 302 with an after market cam. i put the 351w in a few months later of having the car. Hell i am thinking about buying another foxbody for 2500 and it has new cobra r cowl hood, new saleen wing, brand new paint, new tires on some raing rims, the original 302, 5 speed, interior is good and etc.
That's great for you...your car looks nice. Although 6,500 got me an 87 Fox that was completely restored and stripped with brand new paint (I have pictures of its restoration that I will post as soon as I can), brand new weatherstripping, brand new windows, brand new chrome Ponies, brand new Cervini hood, brand new front and rear bumpers, brand new headliner, new carpet, new mats, new seats, the whole interior redone and painted black, already swapped in 351W, with Tremec tranny, Centerforce Clutch, MSD ignition, Line Lock, sumped fuel tank, gauges, Eibach lowering springs, new struts, new LCAs, battery relocated in the trunk with battery cover, worked heads, worked cams, all electronics work perfectly, etc... The car has not one spec of rust, dent or scratch on it.
So it's kind of hard to compare someone's car to another without seeing it in person.
My car is going to be a street/drag strip vehicle and A LOT of the work has already been done. I will eventually have a car that is fast as heck and will look damn good doing it...

Cool, thanks for the heads-up!! I think I'm going to wait a little while before I start modding this car. I have to learn how to drive manual first...
