Post 351 out of an old f250 possibly a 408 Stroker??

I have a 351w out of a 1989 f250 work truck. I have completely rebuilt the motor and I have just now started doing research and running the casting numbers on this motor. In the block valley it reads 351 wcp-8. I have found that that casting was sold as a 351 but the displacement was a 408. Meaning the stroke was 4.06 instead of the stock 3.5" stroke. Is this a good find? And is it 100% true?

they never made a 351w that was 400+ cid from the factory. They did make a 400m that was in the Modified family they were not real good engines and should not be in 89 trucks but people do strange. I would belive that you have a 351w and the stuff you are reading is off.
