Default Blown 4.0, or not...no compression on two back cylinders.

While driving my 2006 Mustang with 140,000 miles, with a 5 speed, I looked down and the temp guage was pegged hot. I pulled over and checked the engine and, sure enough, it was really hot. so I sat beside the road in a very rural spot until it cooled enough to start it. It started and I sat there for about ten minutes and it ran fine with normal temp reading, so I continued to find a safer place to pull over so I could summon a tow. it ran fine with no problems for about ten miles when it started heating again and this time it was making a banging noise in the engine compartment...then it went red hot in an instant and stopped running just as I got it stopped..
That's how it happened, so I had it towed to a mechanic and he checked the iol content for signs of antifreeze which it had a trace. He then checked the timing on it and found it is in time. He then ran compression tests on every cylinder and found no compression on the 2 rear cylinders. Before he did anything to it mechanically and it had sat there for a day, I got in it and it started...running raggedly, but started and he was yelling for me to turn it off before I bent some valves or busted a piston, which minght have happened had it have been out of time....now I am stuck for an answer...what's wrong with my Stang?

Sounds like you might have a head gasket failure or might have done cylinder head damage with the over heating.
