Default 4.0 cam

New to the forum not sure if this is in the right place.

Looking for cam upgrade but not sure what else i would have to do to the engine. New to this whole cam thing thanks!

Not really any options for the 4.0 besides the re-grind from SSM.

you're trying to squeeze blood from a stone. the 4.0 is a truck engine.

What cam? Are you talking about the jackshaft or the two head mounted cams? It is my understanding that this forum is for the 4.0 SOHC only. If you have a 2008 Mustang motor, it has a SOHC dual cam motor.

Yea, just a Mazda truck motor.

Interesting the responses. Check Summit Racing. I saw several different cams for the 4.0 there....
