Default speedo

I just put the 4.10's in my Stang over the weekend, can I adjust the speedo thru computer or do I need to buy a new gear that goes in trans where the speedo connects also I have T-45 trans I'm getting grinding when I speed shift from 1st -2nd, I was reading some of the old post and they were recommending a trans fluid change as it will help greatly I was gonna go with some royal purple.

You can get a speedcal or tuner to correct it from www.mustangtuning.com The speedo gears suck. They arent too accurate.
