Default Starting upgrade/repairs

I have a 1997 Ford Mustang GT. Im starting repairs/upgrades to it because I want to keep this baby forever. First thing I HAVE to do is new struts, brake pads, rotors, and alternator.

But then after the wants is suspension...anyone have any recommendations? For either suspension or the list of HAVES?

Thanks

Brad

And if anyone actually feels like typing that much...I have a stock car basically, cept K&N Cool Air, flomaster duals, and hypertech chip. I want a total engine swap/suspension/perfomance upgrade done in 2 years. What would you do fist to last?
