vortech bypass line
i installed a vortech supercharger and need advice on where to hook up the by-pass valve vacum line,
also i've installed a vacum and boost guage, and can't find the right line. it always reads vacum and no boost at high rpms

RE: vortech bypass line
You need to get inline with the hose that is red and T'd right above your radiator hose inlet (in engine) in your picture.
I tried to circle it on paint but you used some funky *** format and it screws it all up when I save it in paint

RE: vortech bypass line
dude i seriously just got over the same issues. i teed my boost gauge into the big vacuum line that runs to behind the intake plenum, and i teed the bypass into the vac line on the other side of that on the plenum where the vac line splits from 2 red into 1 black (its near the tps sensor, hard to miss). as for the guage not reading boost, you really have to floor it and let the boost build. it wont even hint at boost until like 3500 rpms but you gotta be flooring it all the way up. if you still see nothing then your bypass is either backwards or not working, or you have a major vacuum leak.
