Default timing chain cover, need a lil help.

ok i have almost everything off of in front of my timing chain cover, except the oil pump pulley, do i have to remove the oil pump? or is there a way to just pop off the pulley, also in the haynes guide it says i have to pull off the oil pan, it seems a bit excessive. can i just remove the cover without dropping the pan?

well there should be 4 bolts on your oil pan that connect to your timming cover ake those off you do not need to take your oil pan off. you harmonic ballancer does need to come off i just put my engine together like 3 months ago so if you need any help on what your doing let me know
