My Fiance's 2000 Mustang GT is having a starting problem. It will turn over and start then stall. Happened this morning and after about 5 times it started and ran fine. No service engine light or any other indicators are coming on. Does anybody have an idea??

clean out the iac. pull it off spray it with carb cleaner in it, let it dry then spray some wd40 in it. double check the hoses and pipes.

I know this with sound stupid but.... my car did the samething ..and got worst till i figured out the ground on the battery was chitty ...check your connections..

how many miles are on it? It sounds like if the IAC is good, you should check your fuel pressure... pump may be going

It has 48k on it. It will start and stay running if you give it gas, soon as you let off of the pedal it stalls.

lots of stuff could be wrong...fuel filter last changed when?

Changed the fuel filter about 5k ago.

definately sounds like an idle air control, if not, it could be a vaccum leak, if you start it with the throttle open, will it keep an idle?
