My buddy ran a 13.9 in his 03 GT with just flowmasters welded into the stock piping and the silencer removed...that's some damn good driving!

To the OP, according to mod list in your sig. it looks like you haven't done gears...that would be a much better idea rather than tb/plenum. Or maybe Headers, Midpipe, etc...

theres a peice on the factory intake cover that sort of looks like a big tube going into the fender, u just take it out it restricts air flow

There's a rubber thing stuck onto the airbox so that air is sucked from the fenderwell and not the engine compartment. If you take it off, airflow isn't restricted as much.

Some people argue that this is offset by the fact that you are getting hotter air because more of it is coming from the engine compartment and not the fenderwell. Either way its something that you can do to your car for free.
