Default upper rear control arms

How important are the rear upper control arms when it comes to handling? Im considering getting a set of steeda adjustables, but im not sure if they're really worth the money. Ive already got steeda lowers, just have to install them.

As you prolly know they end up causing more binding and road noise because they have stiffer bushings. They are obv. great to reduce wheel hop for track and all that but adjustables are really only if your car is really lowered to adjust pinion angle and adj lowers just allow you to align side to side for the back but its well worth it to do as a suspension mode. It depends on what you want to do and whats done to decide on a adj over a set ca

i am running gms uppers and lowers and love it!!! they are n/a but my cornering is a hell of a lot better! as far as binding goes i havent had any out of mine. adjustables may be different but really not worth the extra $$$ unless it has a lot of track time

I am running FR rear upper control arms on my '98 GT with Steeda sport springs and Tokico struts & shocks. I couldn't believe how much improvement in tightnes the rear uppers added to my handling characteristics. The rear end is much improved over stock. Keeps the car really flat in the corners. I recommend them highly. I don't think you really will find the adjustables necessary unless you drive both street and strip and have severely lowered your Stang.

I have the ford racing upper and steeda aluminum lowers. I think the lowers do more than the uppers (not sure) But hey for 65 bucks the ford racing ones work really well.

Ok, I just found the steeda non adjustable aluminum ones. They're more expensive than the adjustables. I'd think it would be the other way around. Is there any difference in the arms other than the adjustability? They both have the 3 piece bushings.

From what I've read on reviews, the non-adjustables are stronger and will take more abuse.

Yeah, thats what I was wondering. I just got an email back from mm. They said not to use any upper cas that have urethane bushings, no matter what the design of the bushing. They recommended the FRPP upper arms.

Ill be using a panhard bar too so im not sure what to do about the uppers. Maybe just leave em stock? Im setting this car up more for handling, I dont drag race too much.

If you go with upper C/A, you can get rid of the quad shock
