Default Lowering springs

Sup everyone! I'm new to the board and wanted to know if you guys could steer me in the right direction about some lowering springs. I only want to lower it enough to improve the stance and fill up the fenderwells more.

How low do you wanna go? The best thing to do is buy drag springs and they will lower you about 1/2" to 3/4" which isnt much in the rear but it will give you awsome handling and traction. But if you are just looking for looks I would say go with some Eibach or H&R Progressive rate springs. They fill in nicely and ride like stock springs. Look into steeda also. I hear they make a nice kit but never seen it in person. Here is a pic of mine with 1.6" in the rear and 1.5" in the front.

Steeda,Eihbac, and Ford Racing all have good spring kits, there are a lot of other choices also.Stay with a good brand, don't mix and match unless you know what you're doing.Do a lot of research befire you buy.Lowering springs have a tendency to lower 1/4 mile times by lowering traction due to weight transfer changes. But if it's looks only, then check out the ones above. Get some catalogs and read some magazine articles and make an informed decision.Don't go for cheap prices alone, you get what you pay for.Welcome to the forums and good luck.Happy motoring

Thanks, I'm looking for looks more than anything right now. I was thinking about either Eibach or Ford Racing but wasnt sure which is better. I dont think I wunna go more than 1 inch though.

I just put of set of 17" mach 1's on it and wanted to fill the fenderwells in more. Is there anything else I should change other than the springs?

i've got a set of eibachs on mine and i think it looks good.it lowered it about 1in to 1.5in
you could also put a 70lb bag of concrete in your trunk [8D]

make sure you get PROGRESSIVE RATE springs or you wil;l shake your car to pieces.

I had inch and a half H&R drop all around but made the mistake of getting fixed rate because I didn't know the difference. It was brutal.

Now I have BBK progressive rate. 1&1/2" in the front and 0.8' in the rear....it rides and corners awesome and the drop looks cool too. I think it's the same as Roush uses. I'm not sure about the brand....but that's their drop for sure.
