soon i'm gonna atempt (read atempt) to intall bassani headers and their x pipe with cats. i haven't yet taken the pipe out of the box yet...but i was wondering if when i fire it up, are the cats on a section of pipe that i can remove to go catless if i don't like the sound? or will i have to replace the section with a piece of pipe. is that possible?

did you the BX midpipe or the SS midpipe. The SS midpipe comes with the offroad legs so you swap em out. so to answer your question yes you can swap them out, as long as you have the offroad legs. also let me know how you like those headers becuase i am thinking of purchasing bassani headers to complete my exhuast setup. right now i have the bassani catback and offroad x pipe.

yeah, i got the ss xpipe. i'll let you know soon how they sound. i plan on taking a video clip of before and after so people can hear difference. and i'll shoot the install too.

then you should be able to swap em out. keyword should. ive never actually seen the headers in person. perhaps if u take a pic of em ill let you know.

when august rolls around and i have to get inspected, im going to get 2 cats off ebay and some exhaust clamp joints and cut out a section of my prochamber to clamp them in.. that way i can have my own SLP type catback, i might even leave them in bc highway drone with flowmasters and 3.73s is getting to me, and i miss the low end torque that i gave up when i went catless
