Default New Problem... Maybe

Havent posted on here in forever. How have all of you been? Anyways i'll get to my problem, something keep draining my battery after my car sits for about 12 hours. Checked fuses and crap, bought a new alternator and new battery. Car isnt grounded very well either, but it is. Any suggestions would be great. It didnt start doing this till the first real cold weather hit back in December.

What you have is called "parasitic drain".

Trunk / glove box light (if there is one, I don't remember) not turning off?

Get a multimeter and use the ammeter section of it to hook it up in SERIES with your battery.
Note the reading and see if it is within specs.
If it's too high, keep pulling out fuses until you find the one that makes it drop to normal and now
you will know what circuit is giving you the problem.
From there you will need a wiring diagram or you can just keep disconnecting things in that circuit
till you find the problem.

Common places are the alternator, stereo, taillight bulbs/sockets, alarm systems etc.

Here is a good place to look for instructions:

Good Luck!
