Buy the 98 with less miles and then get a cold air intake....and u will beat 03 cobras,Z06's, that's what i did. I beat em all the time....no problem

or you could just get a 96-98 and swap out the intake and cams and get close to where the 99+ cars are. I just got all the parts i need to install pi intake and cams for less than 300.
