Default 80mm maf?

Hey i was thinking about buying a C&L 80mm maf for my car and i was wondering if this is a good idea? will i see an improvement in hp from doing this compared to what i would with the stock maf? also are there any drawbacks? thanks in advance.

The stock MAF is all you need. It would be a waste of money IMO.

reason why i was asking is because i think my stock maf has a problem and i found someone with the 80mm one for pretty cheap thats why i was gonna switch

Your stock MAF is 80mm and is better then the C&L on a modular. C&L's don't have accurate reading because they trick the ECU with sample tubes to determine the injector size instead of just changing the info in the tune like the stock. If/When you need to upgrade you MAF you just get a Ford 90mm unit from the Lightning...that'll do you up to about 500hp...then its SCT MAF time.
