Default Tranny noise

i just recently changed my clutch and its been about 700 miles since then, now when i down shift i hear a clunk, sounds like a ujoint but i checked them and they seem fine, it happens in all the gears when i downshift, any ideas or anyone have this problem?

Well since you feel the U-joints are OK, it could be a poorly fitted splined hubin the clutch friction plate, a one or more broken snubber springs, transmission mainshaft wear--or excessive ring and pinion backlash or spider gear wear in the rear-end...[/align][/align]Or, it could be oil contamination on the pressure/friction plates, or a binding throw-out bearingcausing them to not release properly.[/align][/align]Or, it could benormal driveline noise that you are tuned in to because you just changed the clutch... Did you "upgrade" to a high-performance, or non-OEM clutch? Sometimes when the action changesyou have to adjust your driving style to the new clutch's way of doing things...[/align][/align]
