Yeah see the big tank above the radiator. Thats the overflow the tube runs into that. The EPA would eat car makers up if they were to put an overflow tube that just runs out of the car. Just start the car and look for the leak.
Actually they did for many years, just a overflow tube. I don't think the overflow tank hit its own till the early to mid 70's.

I have a friend who is a self-employed mechanic and he was telling me about hazardous waste disposal.

He told me that the EPA isn't nearly as **** strict about oil spills as they are anti-freeze. Oil being natural and of the earth anyway I guess is a little 'greener' than a man-made, highly toxic poison. Go figure.

Hah, my car leaks antifreeze from the drain **** all winter long. I am a driving pool of EPA hatred.
