cat problem...
yes the bad luck continues!! my ticking is starting to ease up a little, but i need to run it for a good 10 min with the seafoam in it. the problem is that the driver side cat ( 1st one off the headers) is getting red hot. 1st we thought it was oil/coolant on it. so i sparyed it with brake clean and came back later and the same problem. Ever thing worked ok b4 the swap started so is there ne ideas? could it be possible that it still has some oil in it a little ( some did get on it) or is it a mis ffire/other tyoe of deal...ne ideas?

RE: cat problem...
if the cat's are getting cherry red you are having misfire problems. Raw fuel is getting burned up in the cat and will cause the internals to melt which will lead to expensive problems if you want to keep your cats.

Scan tool would be the best way, but I'm guessing you don't have one... Other than that you can get a spark tester to make sure you're getting spark. If you're getting good spark, check your injectors with a harness tester...
