No.

If the speedo or tach endpoints are different, this will not work.

I've made lengthy posts on this topic MANY times before and I keep seeing the same questions and people wanting to do the swap this way, so I feel like I'm bashing my head against a wall. Search the forum for my user name and "instrument cluster" and you'll find plenty of info.

The short of it: You can swap the Saleen cluster, just don't swap the circuit board - swap the cluster as a whole. Do it in a Ford dealership parking lot and bring both sets of keys because they'll have to reprogram your keys with the new cluster. They'll charge one hour's labor ($60-75) and they will have to make a call to Ford HQ to authorize the key code swap.

I'm not going to explain why this happens - I've done it too many times before. Just search for that info. If you swap the entire cluster, it will work for ANY swap. There are some issues when swapping a 99-01 cluster with an 01-04 cluster and reverse, but I've also covered that. You can take an 04 v6 cluster that has the 120 mph speedo and put in an 04 saleen cluster with a 200 mph speedo and as long as you swap tne entire cluster (not just the PCB) and have your keys reprogrammed as a result, the speedo will be accurate BECAUSE IT'S DIGITAL!

Awesome thanks man, and sorry to make you repeat it, just happen to stumble upon this and was curious becaues Ive seen some GTs with Saleen speedos. I need another ignition key and 2 new key fobs anyway, so I guess when I do that I'm going to try to get ahold of some Saleen gauges, if I go that route.

Sorry to bring back an old thread. I recently bought a set of Bullitt gauges to install in my '03 GT. Swapped out the boards, got it installed, started up the car, and I have no speedometer, fuel gauge, odometer, or temp gauge. Tach, oil pressure, battery voltage, and most of the lights seem to work. Not sure if it is a bad set of gauges or what. I'm going to swap back in my stock gauges and make sure they still work. Any input is appreciated. Not sure if there are any issues going from a '01 to a '03. Took me forever to find a set of these, pretty disapointed it isn't working out. At least the car is drivable I guess. Again any help would be great.

Looks nice. I never liked the plain looking cluster of the Mustang/Crown Vic.
