saturday i went to the strip and on my first pass of the day i ripped 2nd gear out. now im gettin a tko 600 and i was wondering where i could find a 26 spline clutch to fit it and will i need to replace the flywheel. i know i will need to get a driveshaft spacer, the reverse switch pigtail, clutch fork pivot ball, 1/8th inch lock washer, speed sensor plug kit and bellhousing. im gonna get a short throw and was wonderin what everybody thinks of the mgw's.

well i think i found the clutch i need its a 11" spec stage 2+ so i think that this one will work

you wont need a Flywheel... Get yours resurfaced while doing the swap. I went with the Centerforce Dual Friction Clutch, love it no problems at all... Call D&D they will get you everything you need.

alright thanks guys but i think i think i changed my mind and get a 500 cause a friend of mine has a new spec stage 2 clutch that he is gonna give me so that way i can save 300 bucks

You don't want a 600 anyway, your car doesn't have the power to pull thru 1st gear like it should (for a good launch anyway). the 500 has a steeper 1st gear.

yeah i noticed that the gearing in 1st was way different between the 500 and 600

soo say someone like me... i want 350-400 horse...but my plans are big like 800+ should i get the 600 just so i dont have to buy 2 trannys when the time aarives ill already have one
