This has happened three times now on my '01 Gt. Car is driving fine expect for a high idle I can't get rid of but going along and all of a sudden the traction control turns itself off, tach stops working, and odometer distplays - - - - - -. I turn the car off and restart and its fine for a while. Any ideas???

Check the wiring to your ECU. It's behind the passenger side kickplate. When I program my car, I get the dashes as well so I would venture to say your dash is losing communications somewhere. Also be sure that theres nothing in your ODB2 port by your knee or that it hasn't been damaged.
