I currently own a 06 mustang v6 and wanting to get a gt. Now the problem is should i wait and get a 05-08 gt or 99-04 gt both come with the good and the bad. Would i be happy with a 99-04 gt ? Is it really that much faster than a 05+v6? Or should i just wait longer and get a 05-08 gt? I found a 03 gt 23,000 miles for 16k auto... But i really want a stick. Is that a good deal or should i keep looking?

They are faster. 40 hp. It's mostly the 3v.

Keep looking for sure. Don't settle. Test drive a bunch, and see what you think. That was the best advice I got when shopping.

deff true, but also remeber assuming you like the looks of the 99-04 they are cheaper. and with the money saved from the 99-04 you can pick up more than 40 hp.
like rainy said, test drive, go with what feels right

Thanks for the input so far. Are the 2 valves even worth modding?

You for sure would get more bang for your buck with the 01-04 models. I can't stand the retro girly looks of the new ones. I will keep what I have and wait for another body change before I buy again.

for the cost to get into a low mile 05+ GT you may want to look at a 96-01 cobra.

4v's give great bang for the buck on smaller mods plus you'll have money left over to do more mods.
