What would it take to get a NPI to 250Hp at the crank?

Just curious what mods it would take. I would want it to be constant, so no spray. It's a 96 GT NPI. While the Pi heads are on my to do list, lets talk 250HP without it. It makes 215HP stock, which we are going to say it's stock. I am not entirely sure that it is, it COULD have a cam, but I am not sure.

btw your car has CAMS not a cam. It has 2.

Longtubes, underdrive pullies, O/R pipe, etc etc more bolt ons.

That was a typo. I redid it several times and forgot to take out the A and add an S. So yeah, I can get it with the bolt ons. Thanks for the info.

Agreed. P.I. swap would be his best bet. Not to mention it would get him 270hp at the crank due to that higher compression ratio.

I am mainly price checking. Trying to see which would be cheaper to get the 250HP that I want. Seems that the PI swap is the cheapest, especially since I do my own labor. Considering that the UDP's are $199.99 new, LT's are $400. Hell, I can find PI heads for $200, then the headswap kit is another $110, then it's just a matter of finding the intake cheap.

If your close to any junkyards, the 99-04 intake would be pretty darn close to free. Ebay or Craigslist would also be good spots to pick up a used one.

Oh yeah, I have around 70 or 80 junkyards within 100 miles of me, including several pick U pull yards... Real sure I could pick the parts I need for under $500.
