could have been worse, the rear brakes in my mark 8 were shot when i bought it so i changed the pads and put new rotors on, the pistons slid back in smooth on both sides but when i went for the break-in ride i got 3 miles from my house, stopped and found the drivers rear on fu*king fire!!! i got it put out and made it back home to find out both rear calipers had locked up and melted the pads. 250.00 later plus a trip to autozone and i havent had a problem with them in 4 years.
