alright, on my 96 gt for some reason when i turn it off it makes a fairly loud woosh noise and when im siting in my seat it sounds like its coming from the direction of my air intake. The car runs just fine though, no bog downs or anything, it just really annoys me that after i park and turn it off, i hear this woosh of air noise, its been doing it for some time now and im not sure what it is

I too have the same issue except its on my 03 Gt, Everytime i shut it off, it sounds like its passing gas from under the hood

Do you have an aftermarket intake? I know with the aftermarket intakes that make a loud whoosh as your turning them off which is completely normal. The only other whoosh Sounds like water going through your pipes at home and that is the beginning of your heater core going out.

mine does the same thing, stock intake tubing with a K&N filter, im pretty sure its just an effect from the motor shutting off and still sucking air in.

my intake is completly stock and i dont see any reason why it would be doing it, also just today when i was driving home, my rear axles started squeeking a lot and when i was making a left turn, it felt/sounded like the passenger side rear suspension was going on, i hope its nothing bad and i can just grease/oil it up and it will be all good, im a bit short on cash right now
