I have this problem as well. I've been in several 99-04 gt's, and some seem worse than others from my perception.

No, this is just the joy of owning a mustang... My feels like I'm cruising with the heat on full blast all the time.

Mines the same way, I really noticed mine after I put an aftermarket shifter in, also at the same time I put long tubes on it, so I guess it’s one of the two.

I had the same thing too. When installing my headers, i used some header wrap around the headers to somewhat keep the radiant heat inside the exhaust instead of the cabin. I know, i know....... my headers are going to rust off yadda yadda yadda..... well they didnt. Anyway, it worked. The floor gets a little warm on long cruises, but other than that, it stays at a tolerable level.

Same issue here with my 96GT. Strange thing is, it seems to have gotton worse when I swapped the auto out for a T45. I would think it would be the other way around though.
