Just as the title reads.

Will a 97 GT stock H pipe fit on a 99-04GT?

yeah it should. the midpipes and catback are both the same except the exhaust hangers are in different places on the 2 models, and the midpipe on the NPI mustangs has hangers where the newedge doesnt.

I dont need the pipe. A kid i know went through NJ state inspection with an O/R midpipe bc he just got the car and didnt know anything that was on it. The guy laughed at him and said he didn't have any cats.

HAHAHA i thought it was hilarious. Anyway, i found him a midpipe that he can bolt on just to pass inspection, but wasnt sure if the midpipe would fit since its from a 97 GT and his car is a 2000.

I have also heard that you just need to cut off the hangers on the midpipe or something.

thanks for the clarifications guys

btw, how much are the cats worth?
