Default Bad timing chain tensioner

I found the source of my clicking noise, ive narrowed it down to the tensioner by removing the valve cover and watching the tensioner move with the noise. I have to make a 2 hour trip tomorrow how bad would it be to run on a tensioner like this besides possible timing chain slip?

in my opinion it is not safe to be running yur car with the possibilitiy of a bad chain tensioner bro. is yur motr woth it? id by new tensioners for sure, and new chains while yur at it.the new Trick flow chains and tensioners are good sh#t and can be bought cheap at Summit Racing.com. spend $150 now to save $3000 later! make sure to only buy the steel tensioners not the cheap plastic ones tht are found on some models. they are junk. might as well buy the kit with the new guides too, since they usually wear out quiker thn the rest of the timing equipment. SUMMIT and TRICK FLOW are now the same thing so either the TF or the Summit kit will be cool.
