don't try and clean the maf??? i've never heard advise like this before. the maf is prob the easiest thing to clean on the car, just very fragile. once the maf is removed (via unscrewing two screws using a star driver) spray the two filaments with carb cleaner until the dirt comes off. don't touch the filaments at all becaue they are fragile and might break. so let it air dry for a couple min then put it back in. simple as that.

Your right, i should have stated that you shouldnt clean it if you dont know exactly how to. it can get costly if you are unaware.
