Default Treadstone intercooler as procharger replacement

I have a 2 core procharger intercooler and will be stepping up to a f1 series soon. I will need to upgrade the intercooler. Prochargers 3 core is 1000$ where the treadstone is 450 for the 1300 hp intercooler. I am looking to see if this would be an acceptable alternative. Thanks

I've been runnnig one since I crashed my car and found out how proud procharger was of there 3core unit. I'm only running a p1, but It hasn't given any problems. Thats just rediculous on prochargers end.

Hi Chris, you mean you are running a treadstone intercooler. Is it comparble to a procharger 3 core or should i stick with the procharger and pay twice the amount. I want to make sure i am getting the best for my car but dont want to spend double if i dont have to. Would you recommend the treadstone.

The tuner I've been talking to on my car says he's had good success with the treadstone intercoolers, and I believe it's what he prefers to use, even though he's a procharger dealer.

How much $$$ do you want for the procharger IC when you upgrade?

Yes, I'm using a treadstone intercooler and it fit fine with the procharger pipes, I just had to weld new brackets on the rebar to mount it to since the mounting tabs are different than the procharger one.

blow through MAF setup. Where your maf is after the blower before the throttle body. The compressed air is "blowing" through the maf instead of getting sucked through like it would when mounted before the blower.
