Default radiato fan tapping, neone else have this before?

hey guys, new to the v8. had my 6 for about 2 years before this. neway today i was sitting at sonic waiting for my shake and my engine was running so the rad fan kicked on and started making this horriable ticking sound. it sounds like its rubbing up against something but i looked and i dont see anything in the way. ne thoughts?

new to the manual trans to. how do i stop it from bucking when going 1st to 2nd??

I had an issue where the readiator fan was making a horrible noise anytime I would turn the air on. Come to find out the shroud for the fan was crack, causing it to wobble and hit the edge. The only problem is you have to buy the whole fan assembly. I would stick my hand down there and see if you can split it at all.

The electric fan is also very easy to remove. If you can't see anything with it installed, you might want to take it out and get a better look.

i took a look at it a lil better today. the fan blades attach to a solid ring around the outside, idk how to explain it. well i was running it around and where it was rubbing there seems to be a crack in that outside ring that the blade attach too.

anyone have any suggestions on places to get a new unit???

ease the clutch back out like you would from a stop in 1st gear. 1st and 2nd require the most finesse. just be patient and work on syncing your feet. when that left foot goes up, right foot should be going down.

You can get a hold unit at a parts store. Not for sure on the price anymore. If you only need the shroud, the you can take them apart and just resell the fan motor. Pretty easy to do, or just replace the whole thing, and resell your fan motor.
