clutch cable?
ive been looking through the forums, and i just wanted to see what you guys thought. my tob failed last week and i just got my car back. new clutch kit and i got the flywheel machined. when i got it, there was about 3 inches of play in the clutch and it was vibrating like crazy. i also noticed a ticking with the clutch engaged, pedal released.
i checked the pedal adjuster at the quadrant, and it was already maxed out. i managed to adjust it by hand to grab the last few teeth on the adjuster.
the play was gone, as was the ticking. now i'm just hearing a tiny squeak. if i even just rest my foot on the pedal it goes away.
i imagine i need a new clutch cable. will waiting a week or two do any damage to the clutch? i dont want to have to put another one in. also, do you have any recommendations on cables? ive heard that oem with a firewall adjuster is best

as long as you dont buy an adjustable cable and keep the stock adjustable quadrant you are good. if u buy an adjustable cable u NEED to get the solid quadrant. you can get away without using the firewall adjuster, but i would get that anyways.
