Default U joint question...

Hey guys got a quick question. I'm putting new u joints in my cobra this weekend and I was wondering if I could just go down to the local auto parts store and pick some up or if I should order some "high performance" ones off of American muscle. Is there a big difference in them or are they all basically the same?

Thanks for the help!

You should state your driving habits, horsepower, etc. Im sure this will be a determining factor in your decision.

It's basically a stock 98 cobra with 4.10 gears and exhaust. I mean I play around with it sometimes but mostly it's just cruising.

NAPA used to carry Heavy duty U joints. I don't know if they still do.

Id go OEM Motor Craft or Spicer

I wouldn't trust anything like Autozone brand (Duralast) its china junk.
If you have a Fleet Pride they sell real tough U-joints for Semi truck and made also for cars.
