Default Thoughts on a bigger motor?

I have a 04 gt wit plenty done over the years like a blower gears and suspension which have me putting around 350rwhp. The mechanic that had done the work for me told me that wit the stock mod motor anything over what I have now is gettig dangerous to the block or bottom end. So unfortunately for me I don't know many people to get advice from so I wanted to hear you guys and input on stroker engines? I've been looking at a company named MMR. My price range is about 3000 for an engine at this pOint

I hear great things about MMR. People don't tend to have the same feelings towards Sean Hyland (who my motor was built by). I enjoy having a stroked 4.6 to 5.0 along with the forged internals. With the blower and other go fast parts I think it is the only way to go.

MMR's a joke but they do make a good bottom end. (Usually.) I got mine through them. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING EXCEPT YOUR SHORTBLOCK through them. They'll rape you every which way, coming and going.

Their builders are borderline retarded and if you get one that speaks English, they'll tell you crap like Cams wont add any Hp to your 2v.

They were 6 weeks late shipping my bottom end but it held together nicely.

Do NOT ask for building advice from them and DO NOT use their stupid Oil Pump.

The only reason I'd say still get the shortblock from them is that a blind monkey can build a shortblock and they do use good components for a good price. (Fly cuts into the pistons are free.)

Another option is a local builder with a good piston kit. Both should cost you about the same.

ive been trying to do some research and i have seen on a few different posts on this forum that people have spoken about mmr. unforunately i am not a pro of any sort so when it comes to oil pumps and recommending what kind of heads to go with i start getting lost. i was looking at the list of motors they offer and i was figuring if it would be cheaper to get a longblock from them, or get a short block and have the 2v heads i have ported. theres so many ways to go.

I posted this somewhere else as well but those cut pistons from MMR are from manley. They are good pistons but once notched you only have .070" worth of metal in those areas. So run lean once at WOT and you could be in for some trouble. I just got a longblock from excessiveracing.com with custom diamond pistons and ported heads with cams brand new for a bit over 5k. If you're in the mood for a longblock call them. The owner has been super helpful the whole time and has even thrown in some freebies to replace broken stuff I had because he had extras lying around. He has been straight up with timelines and then you're also supporting the little guy. Just some food for thought.
