Suspension question/opinion
#11
do you know how well they would work if you were to hit a 25 mph speed hump at 50? I want a good stiff shock, at least a little stiffer than the factory shocks, but I need shocks that can stand hitting bumps, potholes, etc. at driving speed without blowing out or otherwise suffering ill effects. Should I be looking at light truck shocks?

I do highley recommend working on your driving skills though, there usually arent speed bumps or pottholes on the highways so I don't know what kind of streets your driving on that your going to hit these things at 50mph, shocks are the least of your worries it be more worried about blowing out tires, bending rims, ball joints, etc etc

Im just trying to understand here a second, an area with a speedbump generally the speedlimit is 15mph or less, hence why speedbumps are present because you shouldn't be running over them any faster than that, and without a doubt no where near 50mph, remember your driving a car not an offroad vehicle, theres no passenger car shocks designed for things like that, its a mustang not a jeep.

wait a minute here, I say waaaitt a minute. These are speed HUMPS not speed bumps. different item entirely. these are in streets and are designed to be driven over at speed, just a slightly lower speed than I usually drive. Especially when the sign says "SPEED HUMPS". are you telling me that's not tempting??
