hps intake on 5.4 pi heads please help

i just got of the phone with the guy from hps and he said that the hps intake doesnt work on pi heads is this true??? and should i just go ahead with the adaptor plates

I don't understand why not? Its right there on their site, a 5.4 intake manifold for SOHC 5.4's. Details on your engine?

This is not true from what I recall. I use to work at HPS and know the original owner and creator of the HPS Hardballer intake. I owned one for my 4.6 then bought one for my 5.4 that I still have.

It does work on PI Heads.
