Options with extra motor after a swap?
I will be swapping out my motor for in the next week or so. Once I pull my current motor out the only parts I will be reusing are the intake and valve covers.
Should I wrap the motor and keep it on a shelf? Would I need it for anything?
It is fully running no oil leaks as it's in my car now. But I have 190k miles on it.
Suggestions?

Agree with above. It should be worth something especially if someone puts a little work into it to freshen it up. Someone may buy it just to have a block to work with id start posting it up on Craigslist and anywhere else you can and see if anyone bites. What type of motor is it? Pushrod, modular? Displacement?

You should have no trouble selling that motor lots of guys love them in hot rods and kit cars. I'd throw it up and see. You can check online at places like LKQ and Ebay to see what used motors with that mileage are going for. They are popular on the f150 forums lots of guys throw the 2 valves in the older trucks because they are so easy to get running. Might check a few of their for sale boards.

Thanks for the ideas. I will make a short video today before I start draining the fluids. For pulling it.
