Default ram air and rims

Just have a couple quick questions. On a 96 gt what is the widest 17" rim you can fit without clearance problems? And i was wondering if anyone knew of any companies that sell ram air kits for my year car?

17x10.5 rims. I run 315/35/17 tire and it was real close for clearance but it made it without a problem. I have a 96 as well.

I'm running 17x9 (275/40/17) in front and 17x10.5 (315/40/17) without any problems.

What he said, Ive heard they really dont do anything.. And are mainly for show.
Going by what Ive heard, I would say definitely wayy to much money and not worth it.

They aren't that expensive.....you guys might be thinking of the shaker? But regardless, the ram air isn't going to really do anything for you.

Here is a link to them at MT.com.....they are out of stock tho:

Hell, you could make ur own with a scoop and some tubing.....thats pretty much all it is.

Heh yea, I was thinking of the shaker. That is a complete waste of money.
But now that I remember.. Like everyone else said, the ram air kit won't do anything either.. Definitely not worth it.
