vortech says to use oem plugs at oem gap this this true? i just got done putting in 42# injectors and oem spark plugs.
It really depends on your setup and how much pressure your running. If you are under 10psi, the stockers will probably be just fine, but I would still put the gap down to .040 max. One step colder is a good precaution especially for our stock internals. They pretty much won't hadle any detonation. I ran the OEM (non-platunum) when I was at 8psi for 6 months and never had any detonation issues.

But in his case running 14psi he definitely needs colder plugs and smaller gap.
I totally agree, and Im sure thats whats in there, or something similiar, but since I didn't build the car, I dont know what plugs were used and wanted to get an opinion before I went and screwed something up
