Default Chance to buy tube k-member, should I pull the trigger?

It's a team Z tube k member with spring perches included to use the stock a-arms. He wants 275 for all of it. It would come in handy since we are replacing a header gasket this weekend on my LTs plus it would shed a nice amount of weight from the car and it's already a vert so it's heavy as it is. Comments?

I say go for it if its in good condition. I had trouble using spring perches with the eibachs. it actually pushed the car higher. I eventually switched to coil overs

I think it is silly to continue to use stock "A" arms when replacing the "K", as they are flexable and have soft bushings. I don't know anything about TeamZ and their website is down at the moment, so cannot research it well.

What are the goals for your ride?

Just a good deal and looking to drop weight?
1/4 mile?
twisties?

I decided against it upon some reading. I will swap it down the road but I want to ge tube a-arms as well as the K so t's done right the first time.

I would have bought it and then just bought the A arms after you bought the K member. Just what i would have done though.

I don't know anything about this particular brand but I absolutely loved my tubular K - member. It is honestly night and day difference when working on the car. I can pull my starter with long tube headers with out removing anything else in about 15 minutes.
