Makin up the Drive Train loss is teh first step. This can be done with a Drop in K&N filter, TB/Plenum, STOCK manifolds, HI-Flow or O/R H pipe, any aftermarket exhaust and a tune. This will get you to 250rwhp.
Next should be Cams and should take you to 275-285rwhp.
Then heads add in the range of 35-45rwhp
(OR you can go the Nitrous way as suggested above but I don't like nitrous on the street and I don't trust it on a stock bottom end. Yes, Even at a just a 75 shot.)

If i were you id go on cl and pick up a used o/r x or h pipe (less than 100 bux) get a cat-back system (new around 400 used maybe couple hundo) get a k&n filter (not the whole c&i) also some 373 or 410 gears... plus off course nitrous!
